If someone is interested enough in your information or service to want the newsletter, they could be great future customers. A lot of business owners consider this one of the best ways to generate customer leads. This is called “opt in” lead generation because these potential clients actively asked for more information.
Pay for a list of potential customers. This method comes with some controversy because anything that is not considered opt-in may be construed as “junk mail.” Still, this method does work - you just need to approach it carefully. Make sure that the list you obtain is filled with quality leads.
For example, sometimes when you sign up for a newsletter online, there is a box to check with an option that reads, “I would like to receive other offers from our partners.” By checking that box, you are giving that company permission to put your name on a list. You become a quality lead because, though you didn’t “opt-in” directly, you did give them permission to use your name.
